Though The Future of Fusion Energy may look like a cookbook, the only recipe it holds is for limitless clean energy 🙂
The Future of Fusion Energy is a popular science book aimed at closing the gap between the actual state of fusion energy research and the public’s understanding of it. It was born out of the observation that fusion is systematically under-communicated. The fusion community is almost exclusively composed of research scientists at universities and national laboratories, which are neither trained nor incentivized to reach out to the public.
This is tragic as fusion has a compelling message that grows more and more important with every ton of carbon dioxide that is emitted. The Future of Fusion Energy was written to address this — it was written to be the most accessible book on fusion that has the perspective of scientists working in the field.
